Inspiration, creative practice

Several forces act together to inspire me artistically. At the most basic level, I enjoy the tactile nature of my work – the feel of different materials in my hands as well as combining and manipulating those materials to create works of art. There is also a sense of wonder at the many things that nature and humanity can create.

I am self-taught and I’ve been living in Tasmania's Huon Valley for the past nine years.
