Inspiration, creative practice

Objects of beauty are the source of inspiration for my etchings which I select from the world around me. I chose etching as a medium because I like the quality of fine line and tone it can achieve.

I feel that the romantic nature of my imagery is best depicted in black and white although sometimes I am inspired to use colour tints to add vitality.
